I think it is important to brag on people and businesses when they do wonderful things. Today I want to brag on De Barnes and the staff at Milner Rushing Discount Drugs. While both of my parents have been battling cancer we found out that a $500 credit was added to help pay for our prescriptions. Then Mrs. Barnes brought me and my little brother Easter baskets the week before Easter Sunday and an envelope that had money that her and the staff had taken up for us. My mother got a bottle of bad test strips from them. They made her buy a new meter and even after her doing so and proving the strips were bad they would not replace them. The day we signed up for her to get her strips there they were beyond slow and showed no regard for us waiting so long. The lady at the register said the one doing our paper work always took forever. Called Milner Rushing today upon being released from the hopsital. I typically use Village Discount Drugs - and intend to do so from now on for sure!! But Village didn't have the medication I needed and it wouldn't be in until Monday. For the record, this med is a specialty compound nasal spray pain medication that is only used in extreme circumstances. So I get a lady on the phone at milner and ask if they are able to fill for my medication. She says "ummm I don't think so but let me check." When she comes back to the phone... read more
