Yesterday my mom ran out of her cancer medication. It is a vital medication that she has to have. The other pharmacy was not helpful. They were very impersonal. They offered no solutions. Even though she was very busy, Amanda at Southern Drug discovered that the needed medication was in stock, called the other pharmacy to get the prescription pulled (she had to call twice before they would give her the prescription.) Southern Drug is more like a family who treat me like their most important customer. From price-matching if my insurance doesn’t cover a medication (who does that?!?) to filling prescriptions SUPER fast, text messages when ready, and never ever an issue with insurance that they don’t personally jump right into and take care of. Not only are they fast and reliable, I ran into an insurance issue, since I had new insurance through my husband, and our policy information hadn’t came in yet. My daily medication was $70 more without insurance. Amanda took the time to try my new insurance and when that didn’t work, she price matched my medicine to a much more affordable rate. I can’t say enough about their superior service and helpful attitudes.

My wife and I recently went to Southern Drug Co. to get our flu shots and we met the friendliest, most polite group of employees. We were so impressed we transferred all our prescriptions to them. After getting them filled we saved $ from what we were paying at Wal Mart. Couldn't ask for anything more. Thank you Southern Drug Co.
